The HOPE Center, a faith-based charity, is located in East Fort Worth where there is a high percentage of poverty. Adding to that poverty is our current economic crisis, which is driving even more people to The Hope Center for help. To see real numbers about our community, click here
In September 2009, The HOPE Center provided food for over 10,000 needy people. That number is only expected to rise in the coming months. This is no small task, and the resources of The HOPE Center are strained to its limits. To help us meet the basic need of food for those who will count on The Hope Center for assistance in the future, please make a Donation to a very worthy cause.
join us and give to those who have had a rough year. With the record unemployment figures, we need more help from you than ever before. Please help us to help others.
In addition to feeding those in need, The Hope Center provides clothing and furniture, and also serves to help those with emergency needs.
“If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime”… The HOPE Center teaches classes for Computer Skills, along with GED and ESL classes. We also offer vocational training for CDL licenses and forklift certification. Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty so that people can "feed themselves for a lifetime".
Help us provide hope. We are located on the northbound frontage road just north of E. Berry St. on Highway 820. We invite all donors to come and see our operations; call for an appointment ahead of time for a tour.
